The classic Memory game which is such a staple in a child’s toy box that it’s origins go back forever. Classically born from a pack of 52 cards turned upside down on the table, this game of concentration is all about finding the hidden pairs the one who finds the most wins. I must admit I have started the girls playing but haven’t added the win/lose element yet, you can see in the video they like playing the game but aren’t very good at waiting their turn, once one of them lifts a wooden cap the other is automatically looking for the other one!. I shall introduce the wait your turn and the win/lose element as we go along after all in my opinion it’s good for children to learn that you can’t always win and to accept losing should it happen.
