I just bought your 'sturdy' tub with blocks in a shop in Ireland. I gave them as a present to my little granddaughter. Alas, there were only 2 tubs in the shop, and the plastic of both tubs was substantially cracked, the child could hurt their little fingers if they push them into the crack as the split parts are very sharp! In my view the tubs are not sturdy at all! The colours of the wooden blocks look attractive, but looking for a description of the quality of the paint ('Is it child-friendly, lead-free paint?') I cannot find any mentioning on the tub, nor on your website. I would always look for a mentioning of it as I don't accept automatically that the paint is lead-free. How come that's not mentioned on it? Children do stick anything in their mouth. For the price I paid for it (€30.99) I would have expected more. I was in a hurry to get the blocks, otherwise I definitely wouldn't have bought this tub. I'm really sorry now that I didn't do more research beforehand.

I am very sorry to hear of your disappointment. We have had issues with the tubs in the past and this has now been rectified, I think this may have been old stock. If you get in touch then we can send you out a new tub if required.

As for the paint, I can assure you that ALL of our paint is non toxic and lead-free on every single product! There are extremely tight safety legislations in the UK toy industry and we comply [and often go over and above] the rules with all of our toys. We have all of our toy safety certificates held at head office, and should you ever wish to see one then please call and ask.
