We bought these magnetic letters for my daughters 2nd birthday. Firstly they are absolutely beautiful quality, sturdy, brightly painted with clever patterns that correspond to the letter/word combination. This helps the little ones make the link for example between k and kite, t and tiger. At 2 1/2 my one now recognises all the letters, their sounds and can tell you what letter a word begins with. Can't wait till she starts spelling with them :) A great investment for years to come!

I bought a set of these for my three and half year old son as a Christmas present and they have been a big hit. He loves rearranging them on the door of the dishwasher to make 'words' and is starting to recognise the shapes of some of the letters. His favourites are 's' for snake and 'c' for cat. The patterns and colours are lovely and bright.
Bought these for two of my grandchildren (21/2 and 31/2) and posted them with a little letter so one arrived each day - unfortunately modern postal systems cannot cope with bulky envelopes, so then posted 7 envelopes at a time so they have one each day. Result: favourite toys!! letter games with the bigger one last for up to one and a half hours!! Absolutely loves them!! He has made up special names like the "tickly tummy tiger t", and "straight back big belly b" He can already recognise them by sound, and can blend three sounds to read a word. Challenge for tidlo .... Put another m and another d in the box so we can write mummy and daddy! Do you sell these in upper case too? Big brothers love them too. Would put at least three more stars on the review!!
