Nature Lacing Beads are a great way of teaching children hand-eye coordination, colour and shape recognition and manipulation skills. The beads feature different animals and shapes that children are likely to come across in nature e.g. a ladybird, a butterfly and a snail as well as the traditional ring beads. Each piece has been designed to be at least 2cm wide so they are chunky and easy to handle.
Average Thickness per piece: 2cm
- Threading and lacing encourages early manipulation skills
- Chunky pieces make it easy to handle
Such a simple idea yet provides so much fun for little fingers. I bought these for my 3 yo daughter as she loves anything to do with beads but funnily enough she is always having to wrestle them off her baby brother.
They are great for fine motor skills and the beads are small enough for little hands to hold yet chunky enough to not fit in their mouth and become a hazard. The wooden 'needle' on one end of the cord makes it easy for them to thread their beads.
The beads are great for teaching colours and shapes too.

I've not come across such cute little beads for little ones!! Chloe likes to thread our coloured beads but she soon loses interest, especially as our laces dont have the wooden 'needle' piece on that this ones does which would make it much quicker. Very cute and can see it being played with a lot!
